We collect your personal information in order to:
- ensure that we are able to keep in contact with you
- ensure that we are able to update you on information that may be relevant to you
- ensure that your participation in any activity that we run is both rewarding and enjoyable for you
- ensure that we are offering the best service that we can
Besides our staff (club officers) , we may share this information with:
- national sporting bodies to which we are or may be affiliated
- other organisations within the Shirkhan Tigers® family.
Your information will not:
- Be shared with any other organisation without your consent
Providing some information is optional.
- If you choose not to enter information about health and prior or existing injuries then that may affect our ability to advise you whether or not any sporting or other activity that you wish to participate may be suitable for you.
We keep your information safe by storing it in secure files which will only be accessible to authorised staff (club officers).
We keep the names of any person who has been a member of our club in perpetuity. All other personal information that we collect is held for as long as you remain a member of our club or any of the organisations within the Shirkhan Tigers® family or until you have asked for that information to be removed. Any personal information that you ask us to remove, other than your name, will be securely erased and digitally shredded.
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us at info@shirkhan.co.nz.
